Jill lives in Metro Detroit, Michigan with her daughter, two Dalmatians, and one tuxedo cat.
Jill studied political science at the University of Michigan, because she was a silly goose and thought she would be more likely to use that degree than a creative one. She loves the intellectual puzzle of mystery, the emotional architecture of suspense, and books that explore the people we become when we’re backed into a corner.
When she’s not writing, Jill spends her time gaming, teaching nail technology, dreaming about moving to London, and binging episodes of Outlander.
